AmeriWater Products Support Dialysis Clinic in Africa
The AmeriWater team recently received a request to support a dialysis clinic in Africa with our quality water purification products.
Although AmeriWater is a US-based manufacturer, we often get requests to send our dialysis products to overseas facilities, hospitals, and independent dialysis providers. With each of these requests, we must give careful consideration to local laws and regulations, and our ability to fully support the final client through installation and service of the water purification system.
For this clinic in Africa, we worked closely with a US-based dealer in our network, Precision Water Systems of Fresno, California. Through this partnership, we were confident in our ability to provide the reliable water purification system the clinic needed to produce high purity water for their hemodialysis patients.
The Central Dialysis System for the Dialysis Clinic in Africa
The clinic was outfitted with a central dialysis system. Each of AmeriWater’s central dialysis or central sterile systems are carefully sized to achieve the correct volume needed for the client. In the case of an international order such as this clinic’s, AmeriWater and representatives from Precision Water Systems had to work closely with the final client to achieve the perfect system for their needs. The selected system includes:
- Our MROZ, a reverse osmosis system that can provide up to 17,600 gallons per day (GPD) of high purity water for hemodialysis
- An automatic dual tank bicarb mix & distribution system to provide the clinic with worry free preparation and distribution of bicarbonate solution
- A “Clean In Place” RO System Cleaner that removes scale and organic contaminants from the RO membranes to preserve high system performance
- Activated carbon water filter systems
- And our newly redesigned dialysis wall boxes.
The team received great feedback after install and were excited to receive a video tour of the finished dialysis clinic. It was an honor to assist this facility in opening and we look forward to supporting them and their parent company as they grow.
