We’ve Improved Our Innovative Dialysis Wall Boxes With End Users in Mind
We at AmeriWater always strive to provide our customers with the most innovative dialysis water products possible. In early 2020, we introduced our newly redesigned dialysis wall boxes. This leading-edge dialysis wall box featured a unique compartmentalized design, lessening opportunities for cross contamination and compliant with the State of Illinois Plumbing Code Section 890.740.
We’ve increased the functionality of our dialysis wall boxes by improving the sliding door that separates the waste to drain from the unit’s clean connections. Our updated dialysis wall box now features an improved track for an even easier open/close slide. A small handle is now attached to the door to aide in exposing the drain.
As before, this wall box features a physical barrier separating waste from the water supply and dialysate area. These barriers, an interior shelf and sliding door, are both removable to aide in cleaning; all the compartments are sized for easy cleaning while the barriers are in place.
The body is constructed of a single piece of ABS antimicrobial plastic, suitable for infectious control. A slight slant within the interior of the box helps waste flow easily towards the drain area. The drain connection, a 1 ½” PVC pipe, is designed to minimize and prevent foaming.
The acid and bicarb connections feature isolation valves to allow for servicing the wall box without disrupting the loop. They are comprised of heavy duty PVC with EPDM seals, and feature color-coded handles with safety collars.
AmeriWater’s wall boxes fit recessed into the wall, protecting delicate connections and are sized according to industry standards making replacing your older boxes simple.
