At AmeriWater we continually strive to provide our customers with the most advanced dialysis water products and are therefore continually innovating and improving our products. With this in mind, we have expanded our product line with the addition of a Secondary Loop Wall Box.
Provide a continuous flow to your dialysis machines…
Conventional wall box designs can lead to dead legs or stagnation both of which result in bacteria build up. Our Secondary Loop Wall Box has been designed to prevent this from happening and to provide a continuous flow to a dialysis machine.
The typical dead-space single hose connection from the distribution loop to the dialysis machine is a common place for bacteria to build up when a station goes unused for long periods. This connection can be replaced by a secondary loop that utilizes a secondary loop fitting. When the secondary loop fitting is primed, the pressure differential created allows for constant flow in the distribution loop. A product water hose, which has a product and return side, is connected to the secondary loop fitting to circulate any unused water.
For ease of installation, the secondary loop fitting can be connected either directly to the wall box or in the distribution loop.

The compartmentalized design of our Secondary Loop Wall Box reduces the risk of cross contamination while the removable shelf provides ease in cleaning. Our Secondary Loop Wall Boxes provide a clean connection option between your facility’s acid, bicarb, or ultrapure water lines and hemodialysis machines while keeping the waste to drain separate from these connections. In addition, the drain connection is designed to minimize and prevent foaming.
Our Secondary Loop Wall box is compatible both PEX and PVDF loops.
